Happy Spring!
Chocolates for the holidays!
Another strange year has gone by, with a lesson in enjoying the small things.
This season's chocolate collection of truffles and caramels are available at:
La Fromagerie
868 College Street Toronto
As usual, the candied fruits are not at the shop or on the website but if you need extra TLC given to your boxes of chocolates please send me a line.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Time for cheer and chocolates!
Time for some cheer and chocolates, after a challenging year we all deserve some TLC.
However still not together, I do miss a good hug!
Like most of you my life got turned upside down and the main priority is being safe and pop-ups are unfortunately not really an option this year.
However, boxes of truffles in different sizes of 3, 9, 12 and 21 as well as caramels, plus samplers are available at:
La Fromagerie
868 College Street Toronto
We have new flavours for this year's box of 3:
- Garam masala from Kochi India, mild with a top note of star anise.
- Saffron and gur (palm syrup from Bengal) with pomegranate flower.
- Almond and pistachio marzipan.
Candied fruits covered with chocolate are also available but please drop me a line for those as they are not listed on the website.
Delivery and pick up can also be arranged.
I wish you all a safe and happy season!
Odile

As most of you probably know, I have a love for spices and travel.

A little Momma Braga fact to all my amazing readers and fans is that I am a chocoholic. I have been since I could start eating chocolates and from what I can see from past photo albums, it started in my toddler years.

Last but not least we ended the tour at 829 Dundas Street West where we entered an adorable shop called, Odile Chocolat. We were greeted by owner and renowned food industry specialist, Odile Chatelain. Odile honed her craft while growing up as a child near Paris, France. She and her mother would make truffles each Christmas. This family tradition instilled a passion within Odile that has carried her through her 30-year career in the food industry. Odile now specialize in the latest food industry trends and brings exceptional quality European chocolate products to Torontonians.
Odile Chocolat specializes in tantalizing hand-made truffles with a combination of wine, herbs, spices and flowers. It really gives chocolate lovers a unique selection of flavor and choices.
During our tour at Odile, she offered a demonstration on how she hand designs the chocolates, it is just spectacular to see!

Odile is your one-stop truffle shop, and you can watch the truffle making process in-house if you arrive at the right time of day. Chocolate treat making is a creative passion at Odile; one truffle takes two days to prepare. Tour taste highlight: Odile flavours are made from natural infusions that are created from scratch on-site including ice wine, raspberry vinegar, and caramel lavender. Odile key characteristic: craft blended with innovation.
FYI! The tour is vegetarian, and can be made entirely gluten-free as well as partially vegan. Nut-free options are available. Other restrictions may be accommodated on a case by case basis. You just need to make the request and check with Tasty Tours in advance.
The tour is every Saturday, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
